In 1925, Aron Nimzowitsch introduced My System, which later became a classic. My System laid the foundations: basic evaluation principles, key strategic elements, and ideas like the famous Blockade and Prophylaxis. For a long time, it was a reference point for studying chess.

With the arrival of the computer revolution, everything changed dramatically. The game we knew would never be the same: much of what we thought we understood was suddenly called into question, new concepts emerged, and chess entered a new era of complexity.

The result of twenty years of research, coaching, and analysis at the highest level, Strategic Balance is a serious effort to bring structure to that complexity. It creates a framework that sets priorities, puts everything into perspective, and gradually reshapes the way we think, based on a deeper and more dynamic understanding of the game.

Over a hundred years after My System, Strategic Balance goes further, establishing its own set of rules and ecosystem. It aims to become a guideline for the modern generation of players.
